Guwahati, Oct 7: Bharti Airtel has announced new postpaid plans that offer customers one free international roaming pack each year, plus unlimited data, 5G Fast Lane technology, spam and fraud protection, and entertainment benefits.
The new plans will be available from October 8.Under the complimentary international roaming benefit, customers will get 5GB data, 60 minutes of calls, 25 outgoing SMS and free incoming SMS, valid for five days. The pack can be activated at a time of the customer’s choice during an international trip.
For Airtel family postpaid plans, the free roaming benefit will be available to every member covered under the plan.
The new roaming benefit adds to Airtel’s existing postpaid offerings, including Fast Lane technology on 5G, network-level protection against spam and fraudulent links, and unlimited data. Customers also get access to entertainment subscriptions and the Airtel Postpaid Advantage Club, which offers exclusive experiences such as comedy shows, movie premieres and concerts.
Amit Tripathi, Director–Market Operations, Bharti Airtel, said the company was focused on improving the postpaid experience by combining network quality with added services and value.“Postpaid for us is about delivering the best-in-class experience in the Indian market,” Tripathi said, adding that Airtel would continue to expand the benefits available to its postpaid customers.
The new plans are open to both new and existing Airtel customers from October 8. Existing prepaid and postpaid users can upgrade through the Airtel App or by visiting an Airtel store.Non-Airtel users can switch to Airtel Postpaid by raising a request through the Airtel App or at an Airtel store.
