Major seizure of suspected FICN in Baghbar, Barpeta
In a joint operation, a team from Baghbar Police Station, Mandia OP, and SSB 64th Battalion apprehended one accused person and recovered 328 suspected Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) of ₹500 denomination, having a total face value of ₹1,64,000, from his possession.
The operation also led to the recovery of one currency counting machine, one mobile phone, and one vehicle.
Necessary legal action has been initiated in connection with the seizure, and further investigation is underway.
